Proferred Film Solutions Inc. (“Proferred,” “we,” “us”) provides window film, window graphics and signage services. This policy explains how we handle personal information through this website, our inquiry form and related project communications. It also explains your choices. Our contact details appear at the end of this policy.

Information we collect
Our contact form requests your first name, last name, email address, phone number and inquiry type. If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to share. To assess or complete a project, we may subsequently request a service address, measurements, product requirements, photographs, access details and relevant correspondence. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, government identification or other sensitive information through the inquiry form.
Our hosting and security providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, request time, pages requested and security events when they deliver or protect the website.

Why we use information
We use inquiry information to respond, recommend suitable services, prepare or discuss estimates, arrange assessments and manage requested work. We also use relevant records for customer support, warranty inquiries, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution and legal obligations. We limit collection and use to these purposes or another purpose explained to you when consent is required. We do not sell personal information.

Consent and communication choices
Submitting an inquiry asks us to respond by email or phone about that inquiry. It does not enroll you in a marketing list or authorize unrelated promotional texts. Where required, separate consent will be requested before promotional communications. You may tell us your preferred contact method, withdraw consent for optional uses or request that we stop contacting you, subject to legal and contractual limits. Withdrawing information needed to perform requested work may prevent us from providing that service; we will explain the effect.

Estimate PDFs and follow-up
The instant estimator uses your selections and contact details to generate a downloadable PDF in your browser. When you create the PDF, your name, email, phone number and project summary are also sent to Sales@proferredfilmsolutions.com so our team can follow up. A downloaded copy remains on your device. GoHighLevel is not currently connected. The Contact Us form sends your contact details and inquiry type to the same sales address.

Form delivery and spam protection
Contact and estimate submissions are processed by our website hosting and email providers to deliver an email to Sales@proferredfilmsolutions.com. Automated spam controls check submissions and temporarily limit repeated requests. The website uses a one-way identifier derived from the requesting IP address for rate limiting, retained for up to one hour, and temporary submission identifiers for duplicate prevention, retained for up to one day. Form submissions are not published on the website. Our team retains the resulting emails as described below. You can also contact us directly by email or phone.

Sharing and processing locations
We share information with personnel and service providers who need it to handle inquiries or deliver requested services, such as email, hosting, form-delivery and installation providers. Information may also be disclosed when required or permitted by law, to address fraud or security incidents, or to protect legal rights. We seek appropriate safeguards for service-provider handling.
Providers may process or store information outside your province or Canada, where local laws may permit access by courts or authorities. We do not promise Canadian-only storage. Contact us with questions about a provider or a specific transfer. Social platforms, map services and other websites you choose to visit operate under their own policies.

Cookies and website technologies
We use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and successful project inquiries from Facebook and Instagram advertising. It shares page URLs, browser and device information, IP address, cookie identifiers and interaction events with Meta. A successful landing-page inquiry shares the selected service category and a unique event identifier; we do not include your name, email or phone number in the Pixel event's custom fields. Meta may associate this activity with your Meta account and use it under its own privacy policy.
Meta cookies may include _fbp and _fbc. You can manage cookies in your browser and advertising preferences through Meta Ad Preferences. Learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy. Browser privacy tools or tracking blockers may prevent the Pixel from loading; our inquiry forms continue to work.
The estimator does not save entered contact details in browser storage. We temporarily retain advertising campaign parameters in session storage to identify the source of an inquiry. Hosting and security services may use necessary cookies. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails or texts.

Retention and safeguards
We keep inquiry and project records only as long as needed for the purpose collected, customer support, warranty matters, accounting, disputes and applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on whether an inquiry becomes a project, the work performed and outstanding obligations. Records should be securely deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. We use safeguards appropriate to the information, including restricting access and using secure transmission where available. No internet transmission, email system or storage method is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information by ordinary email.

Access, correction and privacy requests
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, raise a concern, or ask about deletion or withdrawal of consent. Some records may need to be retained, and legal exceptions may limit access or deletion. We may request enough information to verify your identity before responding, without collecting more than needed. We will explain any applicable limits and respond within the time required by law.
If we cannot resolve your concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another applicable privacy regulator.

Children and policy updates
This website is intended for people arranging property or business services. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and address it. We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision; material new uses will be explained and consent obtained where required.
