About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Proferred Film Solutions Inc. website, contact form and online estimate tools. Please use the website only if you can agree to these terms. If you are acting for an organization, you must have authority to make inquiries on its behalf. A signed project agreement, accepted written quote and applicable law govern purchased services; using this website alone does not create an installation contract.

Information and appropriate use
Website information helps you explore window film, graphics and signage services. Product selection, compatibility and performance depend on the specific glass, film, building and installation conditions. Do not rely on general website information as an engineering, code-compliance or site-safety assessment. Use the website lawfully and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others, submit information you are not authorized to share, send spam, interfere with security controls or attempt unauthorized access.

Online estimates and product scope
The estimator produces a preliminary planning estimate from your chosen products and supplied quantities. Measurements, glass suitability, available product specifications and installation conditions must be confirmed before a final quote. A PDF download is not a booking, invoice, order acceptance or payment request.
Where a PDF identifies a priced portion, unpriced or “to confirm” work is excluded from that subtotal. Graphics, channel letters and unspecified or separately priced products require tailored pricing. Film area is measured in square feet; attachments and sealants are separate linear-foot items where specified. Installed film rates already include the stated installation scope. Do not duplicate the same treatment, attachment or sealant work.

Prices, taxes and payment
Website and estimate amounts are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. Standard card rates already include the pricing allowance; no additional website card surcharge is automatically added. Any listed non-card rate applies to the indicated eligible payment method. GC/volume or premium pricing requires individual review and is not an automatic entitlement.
Shipping, removal, lifts or other access equipment, permits, electrical work and unspecified attachments are additional unless expressly included. The final written quote will state the agreed scope, taxes, fees, any applicable minimum and payment schedule before acceptance. A 50% deposit is the stated booking policy for accepted quotes; an illustrative deposit in a preliminary PDF is not a demand for payment. Assessment fees or credits apply only when disclosed and agreed. This website does not collect payments.

Quotes, changes and consumer rights
We confirm a project through a separate written quote or agreement. Changes to agreed scope, materials, quantities or price should be documented and agreed before the additional work proceeds. These terms do not authorize unilateral increases to an accepted price or override any statutory restriction on estimates. Nothing here limits non-waivable rights under applicable Canadian or Ontario consumer-protection law. If these website terms conflict with mandatory law, that law prevails.

Appointments, site access and cancellations
Assessment dates, installation schedules and access requirements are confirmed with you directly. You are responsible for providing accurate site information and obtaining permission from the property owner or other responsible party where necessary. Requirements for access, preparation, approvals, permits and electrical work must be allocated in the project agreement. Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit treatment and any refund rules will be provided before you accept the relevant service; these website terms do not create a blanket non-refundable-deposit policy or remove statutory cancellation rights.

Performance, warranties and project imagery
Performance descriptions are general and depend on the selected product, glass and installation. Security film is not a guarantee against forced entry, injury or glass breakage; bird-deterrent film does not guarantee that no collision will occur. Manufacturer warranties vary and are subject to their applicable written terms. Any installation warranty will be confirmed for the project. Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Concept images and illustrative video show possible applications and are not a representation that a pictured project was completed by Proferred. Product colours, finishes and appearance may vary between displays and actual materials.

Contact form and external services
Contact and estimate forms send your details through our website hosting and email providers to our sales inbox. Submission does not guarantee immediate receipt or a response within a particular time. If the form is unavailable or your request is urgent, call or email us. Do not use it for emergencies or submit sensitive payment or identity documents. Your inquiry is not an order and does not sign you up for marketing. External sites and providers have their own terms; we do not control their availability or content.

Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling, form providers and your choices. Contact details used to create an estimate PDF stay in your browser unless you separately send them to us. You are responsible for protecting and appropriately sharing any downloaded PDF.

Website content and intellectual property
Website text, designs, photographs, video, logos and other materials are owned by Proferred or used under appropriate rights, except where otherwise identified. You may view the site and save your own estimate PDF for personal or internal project-planning use. You may not republish or commercially exploit site materials without permission from the relevant rights holder, except as permitted by law. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners.

Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Please report a suspected pricing or technical error so we can check it before an order is accepted. To the extent permitted by law, Proferred is not responsible for indirect losses arising solely from website outages or reliance on general informational content. This does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability, consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, and does not replace obligations under a separate service contract.

Governing law, updates and contact
These website terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law, subject to any mandatory protections available where you reside. This does not require you to waive a statutory complaint process, court remedy or other non-waivable right. We may revise website terms prospectively; a revision does not retrospectively change an accepted project agreement. The revision date appears above.
